Students Potluck Jan 201

Image
On January 21st 2018, At Menna's Delight, Trivandrum. 25 of my students got together, it is a time to come together as students and teacher, share a potluck meal, and celebrate the incredible learning community we have built together. Each students brought a dish to share and we had an opportunity to talk, eat and laugh together. Basically it was a meet and share learning, bond, know each other and move forward in the creative field of baking. In this event we had 2 persons to share the j ourney of success in there field. One person was  Deepika NK  the owner of  Leela'S Kitchen  and also the person behind the  Kitchens Of Trivandrum The other person was  Jumin Jose , the Home baker who was my student, shared her journey of success from her very humble start to successful business women. Thanks to my mom, who did a demo of vegetable carving. Doing something for someone else in need gives a self satisfaction and fulfillment. Wishing all a year of Happiness by helping others. Hap

I Met Afiya Thaha in one my fondant Icing class two years ago at Trivandrum, very creative and talented and was very much into cooking. Afiya Thaha (lKunafa Girl)- the one in yellow dress Kunafa  I was never surprised when   Kunafa ( Arabian dessert) became a hit in Trivandrum City, because she was a person always looking for creative stuffs.   Yesterday was the first time I tasted Kunafa at Eve’s Café where she had kept it for sale. It had a very subtle creaminess and a very mild sweetness in it, loved and enjoyed    every bite of it. Wishing Afiya Thaha   many more success   in the field of baking.
